HISTORY

In October 2009, after a succesful co-operation of many years, Jürgen Schaffitzel, managing director of the company Schaffitzel wood industry, and Frank Miebach, owner of engineer´s office Miebach, based the enterprise Schafftzel + Miebach.

Propelled by the fascination of bridges the design planning, project engineering and execution of timber bridge buildings are offered together. The combination of the 100 years old traditon in timber construction of the company Schaffitzel wood industry GmbH and the establishment of the engineer's office Miebach in the modern building of timber bridges, forms now the new, extended enterprise, a bridging for the future.

A large request for them is  the advancement of timber bridge building, so that they engage themselves in the quality community of building timber bridges.
